FACTORS INFLUENCING CHANGE MANAGEMENT DURING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATIONS: AN EMPIRICAL INVESTIGATION
Author: Aarti, Anita Devi, Sanjeet Kumar

Organizations that want to remain competitive in the ever changing digital world of today must undergo digital transformations. Managing change during these transformations presents complex challenges. In order to better understand how change management affects digital transformations, this study will look into those elements. Using the convenience sampling method, two hundred fifty working respondents from various Haryana districts were chosen as a sample. The parameters derived from earlier investigations were identified using structured questionnaire. To analyze the data, factor analysis is employed. The analysis revealed three dominant factors, derived from 25 statements, shedding light on the identified challenges. Furthermore, this study explores strategies that can assist organizations in navigating these challenges. By addressing the identified challenges, organizations can enhance their change management practices during digital transformations.

SMART ENERGY CONSERVATION SYSTEMS IN SMART CITIES: A MYTH OR REALITY
Author: Christina Ering, Pankaj Choudhury

ABSTRACT:
Smart Cities are in general perceived to be high technology urban areas. They have been
defined by many entities depending upon business these entities are into.
Energy conservation has become a hot topic at the present time as the rate of energy
consumption is continuously increasing. The energy sources are depleting at a very fast rate
and soon there is going to be shortage of energy sources.
The smart cities need to incorporate the concept of energy conservation. The smart cities
need to adapt some of the systems managing and controlling the energy consumption. People
can contribute to the environment by conserving energy.
The concept of smart cities varies from country to country and depends on the level of
development. Principle of urban planning evolves over centuries. While planning for smart
cities in India, culture and traditions needs to be guiding principles. Greater importance
should be given to social culture rather than technology.
Our research paper highlights the need to achieve a balance between the conventional way of
developing smart cities using modern technology by preserving cultural and economic
identities of North-east India.
Empirical evidences suggest that selective and well-designed public policies and good
governance can influence the development process in an astonishingly positive manner.
Assimilation and accommodative policies can strengthen social integrity of North-east
region. Our research paper will explore North-east India‟s struggle towards achieving
sustainable socio-economic development.

A CRITICAL REVIEW OF THE ISSUES AND CHALLENGES TO HUMAN RIGHTS IN NORTHEAST INDIA
Author: Dr. Jonison Daulagajau

ABSTRACT
Human rights encompass a broad and fundamental concept essential for every person to exist
with dignity and worth. This understanding gained clarity with the establishment of the
United Nations Organization (UNO) and the ratification of the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights on December 10, 1948. The Declaration significantly influenced the framers
of the Indian constitution and lawmakers, leading to the incorporation of rights in the
Preamble, Fundamental Rights, and Directive Principles of State Policy. It also resulted in the
establishment of the National Human Rights Commission through a Parliamentary Act in
1993, as well as State Human Rights Commissions. Despite these measures, human rights
violations remain prevalent in India, particularly in Assam. In response, India, along with the
international community, is striving to address these pressing issues through constitutional,
administrative, and legal measures. Given the global dimensions of this problem, cooperation
with the international community is essential to foster a compassionate society under the
motto "Live and Let Live." This study examines the violations of human rights across various
domains, perpetrated by both state and non-state entities, including the infringement of the
rights of religious minorities.

EMPOWERING INDIAN WOMEN: A QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN THE 21ST CENTURY
Author: Dr. Kanwaljeet Kaur

ABSTRACT:
This study presents a comprehensive quantitative analysis of women’s empowerment in 21stcentury India, aiming to identify the challenges and opportunities that shape Indian women's
socio-economic and political realities. Drawing from a structured questionnaire administered
to 1,200 women, the research employed a stratified random sampling method to ensure
representation across age, education, income, and regional backgrounds. Data analysis using
SPSS involved descriptive statistics, Chi-square tests, and One-Way ANOVA to evaluate
variations in empowerment across demographic segments. The findings reveal significant
disparities, with urban women demonstrating higher empowerment scores than rural
counterparts. Education emerged as a key determinant of empowerment, influencing
employment, health access, and perceived policy impact. Income levels significantly affected
women’s evaluation of policy initiatives, while mobility and political participation varied
based on region and age. The study highlights the persistence of structural and cultural
barriers, especially in rural areas, despite national-level policies and programs aimed at
gender equity. By grounding the analysis in women’s lived experiences, the study addresses a
critical gap in the existing literature, which often relies on secondary data or overlooks intragroup differences. The research calls for region-specific, education-centric, and economically
inclusive policy frameworks to address the multidimensional nature of women’s
empowerment in India and emphasizes the need for data-driven, participatory interventions to
achieve gender-equitable development.

POLITICS OF PRECARITY AND THE REPRESENTATION OF RESISTANCE AND RESILIENCE IN ANITA NAIR AND ANURADHA MARWAH
Author: Abhishek Yadav

ABSTRACT
This study explores the politics of precarity and the representation of resistance and resilience
in the works of Anita Nair and Anuradha Marwah, focusing on how their divergent narrative
strategies contribute to Indian feminist literary discourse. Drawing on theoretical frameworks
of precarity articulated by Judith Butler, Guy Standing, and Isabell Lorey, the research
examines how vulnerability operates not only as a thematic concern but also as an aesthetic
practice embedded in form, tone, and style. Through a comparative analysis of Nair’s Ladies
Coupé (2001), Mistress (2005), and Eating Wasps (2018), alongside Marwah’s The Higher
Education of Geetika Mehendiratta (1993) and Dirty Picture (1998), the study demonstrates
that Nair foregrounds affective realism to elicit empathy and intimate engagement, while
Marwah employs political satire to critique systemic oppression and institutionalized
inequalities. Resistance in Nair’s fiction emerges as subtle and inward, whereas Marwah’s is
overt and political, yet both converge in portraying resilience as a transformative force
bridging vulnerability with empowerment. By situating these texts within the socio-cultural
context of gender, caste, class, and neoliberalism in India, the study underscores literature as
a critical site where precarity is both lived and artistically represented. Ultimately, the
research extends global theories of precarity into the terrain of Indian feminist fiction while
highlighting the broader relevance of Nair and Marwah’s works for understanding women’s
struggles in contemporary India.
