ENVIRONMENTAL PRESSURE GROUPS TOWARDS IMPROVING WASTE MANAGEMENT IN CITIES A STUDY BENGALURU
Author: S. Manasi & Natasha Kalra

ABSTRACT
Rapid urbanisation has affected urban environs in several ways besides posing staid
challenges of various forms. Varied reasons include increased migration, high population
growth, consumerism, life style change, all affecting governance. Waste generation is one
such outcome that has become a burden in cities affecting aesthetics, health, environment and
others. In addition to the obvious approaches of composting, landfill, basic recycling and
reuse, many innovative approaches/initiatives to waste management are seen in city contexts,
specifically, with stakeholder participation across phases of segregation, collection,
transportation, disposal and treatment, in addition to awareness creation. All of it, acting as
pressure groups for improving governance and demanding for improved efficiency in waste
management. This has been witnessed extensively in Bengaluru city where we witness plog
runs, compost santhe, zero-waste events & weddings, composting, recycling and events
promoting eco-friendly products, green entrepreneurs and others widely publicised through
radio, television, banners and posters at public places and also through social media platforms
like Watsapp groups, Facebook and Twitter handles. Citizen networks although in isolated
ways and minuscule forms, a multitude of them will bring about transformations at city
contexts. This paper is a diffident effort to understand and map the initiatives across the city
of Bengaluru. These initiatives have been classified and discussed. Secondary data sources
and some primary field observations have been used. We find that stakeholder engagement
and initiatives have largely been undertaken under awareness creation and waste collection
and segregation.

ACTIVELY ENCOURAGING MULTIDISCIPLINARY INNOVATION IN ACADEMIA
Author: Seemant Tiwari & Sushma Dubey

ABSTRACT
Ever since the mid-twentieth era, an effective team has grown in popularity. This report
attempts to provide a basic taxonomy of a multidisciplinary exploration classification.
Focusing on an interdisciplinary approach is becoming essential for modern qualitative
research to stay up also with complex concerns confronting civilization. Furthermore, the
new educational structure has not been modified to encourage interdisciplinary investigation
between faculty members and scholars. derived from the past with a university program
aimed at fostering interdisciplinary research, advice for academics, heads of departments,
colleges and agencies, and academic institutions to support interdisciplinary research. Most
of these ideas, like improving communication, are actions that academics and directors may
take right away. Additional suggestions will necessitate more effort and money from colleges.
This paper offers numerous claims that differ from widely held beliefs about the genesis and
behavior of multifunctional systems. We suggest that this presents itself in a study's ability to
twist her/his line of research focus on ecological input, wherein fresh knowledge is integrated
into the modified qualitative research. The research has pointed out is practically
demonstrated using the field of work of renewable energy research as an illustration, which is
ripe for collaboration. Increased knowledge of multidisciplinary research devices is expected
to provide ideas into some of these advantages specific to less connected and self-organized
types of interdisciplinary projects, as well as a foundation for proper designing and nurturing
of such networks.

BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF JOURNAL OF CHEMINFORMATICS (2012-2021)
Author: Arup Kumar Mondal

ABSTRACT
This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of the Journal of Cheminformatics (JOC) for the
period of 10 years (2012-2021). To complete the study total no. of 348 research articles have
been taken up for data analysis. The aim of this paper is to analyze the forms of articles,
distribution of the articles, authorship pattern, geographical distribution, institutional
contribution, reference distribution pattern, and ranking of leading authors. It is found from
the analysis that at the starting time the journal was not so popular. But with the time being
the journal become more and more popular among the academicians. There are a most
extreme number of 80(22.99%) articles that were contributed with the joint effort of 3 writers
followed by 68(19.54%) by 4 writers and 47(13.51%) by 2 writers. The USA is the top giver
with 65(18.68%) research articles commitment. Universities are the biggest benefactors with
183(52.59%) articles contributing out of 348 chose articles. An all-out number of 17314
references were referred to in 348 articles. It implies each article gets a normal of 49.75
references. There are two authors, Isidro Cortes-Ciriano and Sunghwan Kim have contributed
4(1.15%) articles each and got the first position.

A STUDY ON THE POTENTIAL DEMAND FOR 5G PHONE IN INDIA
Author: Md Ujale, Nadar Hadwinmano Ramesh, Tirtha Saikia

ABSTRACT
5G technologies will usher in a much larger revolution than it has already ushered in. At its
most basic level, it will vastly expand the capacity and reach of existing mobile networks by
enabling higher data throughput and ultralow latency. However, 5G would provide like the
foundation for a number of fourth industrial revolution (IR4) technologies, including artificial
intelligence, augmented reality/virtual reality, drones, the Iot, telemedicine, and self-driving
cars. Through 5G, billions of different devices or gadgets will be linked to each other,
providing capabilities and user experiences never seen before. Our enterprises and existences
will never be the identical as previous. And India isn’t going to be remain out of this
revolution. In this project, we are going to provide a non-technical primer on 5G technology,
an outline of broadened 5G applications for different areas, an outline of the administrative
landscape for 5G in India.

A STUDY ON PERCEPTION OF WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS ON BUSINESS QUALITIES IN BANGALORE CITY OF KARNATAKA
Author: Somanchi Hari Krishna, I. Shanmugapriya, T. Snekalatha

ABSTRACT
An entrepreneur is a leader who actively searches out new ideas and puts those ideas into
action with the purpose of aiding economic growth and development. An entrepreneur may
also be referred to as an innovator.. An action that results in the formation and administration
of a new organization with the purpose of pursuing an original and cutting-edge opportunity
is referred to as entrepreneurial activity. It entails taking steps to encourage people to become
entrepreneurs and provide them with the skills required to develop a profitable company
model. In addition to this, a rising nation like India is in need of businesspeople who are
capable of recognizing new possibilities and are prepared to take the required risks. The
entrepreneurs may escape the vicious cycle of low income and poverty if they establish new
businesses and create their own enterprises. Certain persistent issues, like unemployment,
may be alleviated if more businesses and the government collaborate to develop innovative
approaches of doing business. The study is made with the objective of knowing the
perception of the women entrepreneurs towards the traits they require for the successful
professional life. It is a qualitative study conducted in Erode district, Tamil Nadu. 100
women entrepreneurs have been selected using snowball technique. Their opinion about the
quality that possess or required is observed through the Google forms. Their perception is
analyzed with their age group using Kruskal Wallis test. As a result, it is essential to study
women's entrepreneurship in this era of social change and evolution. It is important to
determine what kinds of opportunities encouraged women to engage in entrepreneurial
endeavors, as well as what can be done to encourage and ensure that they are successful.
